This Easter Sunday we ride the Cainhoy "out & back" with the teams of Charleston.

Below the intersection of N. Rhett and I-26 may be the most unpleasant piece of road that I'm usually on.

Traffic is horrible at times and there is no shoulder and all are confused about what lane a bicycle might be in.

Park Circle

Lap 1 - 9.6 miles to Starbucks 14.6 mph

Quarterman Park

Two of my favorite ducks.

One of my favorite trees.

Sunday's rides always need a little coffee to start adequately.

We head out East Bay toward the Ravenel Bridge.

Lap 2 - 37.2 miles 19.6 mph

Ravenel Bridge/Wonders Way

Highest Elevation - 306 Feet according to my gizmo.

Where does the rest of the 2606 feet total gain come from?

Shem Creek

Easter Sunday

Neighborhoods of Mount Pleasant

Rifle Range

A dog walks its human.

Scott tries to top the impossible (so far).

Wando

It was on this next stretch of road that we had a fast pace then an explosion off the front.

I stayed with the group only by limiting my pulls.

The point of return.

Jane and I head to Moncks Corner.

Lap 3 - 18.7 miles 17.7 mph

Tail Race Canal

Lap 4 - 29.9 miles 18.2 mph

 Moncks Corner

Turning on Bushy Park

Hanahan.

95.51 miles

Felt like 96 miles.
