4-10-08 Kane Road Test

Some of the Low Country VW Team members acquired some frames and total bike kits from Kane.
It's full carbon fiber, light, and fast.
This model is called the "Nighthawk".
AKA -"Jane's Addiction".

I put this one together and thought I'd better check my work.
You know how it goes. I was just taking it around the block.
22 miles later I'm around the block.
I made it to the Ravenel Bridge or Wonders Way.
While I was there I thought I might as well check it out on the "hill".
It climbs well and rolls on the flats.

While I have your attention, there is new paving over old tracks at Virginia coming off Remount.

Westvaco is up on the right. This is very nice compared to what it used to be.

I started in Hanahan to Rhett and through some neighborhoods that wind into Old North Charleston.

I took North and North becomes Spruill.

Quarterman Park

Pretty balanced fellows.

.
Here I couldn't see and blew the picture. I wanted the boat in with the entire bike.

These ladies took the pic. Another lady stopped and asked if I wanted her to take it and I declined.
I usually don't like my picture taken. Too many already of me.
But I couldn't see and I'm glad they took the better picture.

Regatta?
