Lots of climbing... scary as all get-out. The Tail of the Dragon has 300
switchbacks over 8 miles and is a famous destination for motorcycles. Good
chance you'll get your picture posted on the internet from www.killboy.com,
www.moonshinephoto.com, or www.dragonslayerphotos.com. Halfway point
at Deals Gap is a famous biker lodge.
Adding the Dragon was to be another 30 miles.
The entire ride was the equivalent of riding 120 or 150 flat miles into a hurricane.
Some Local riders keep the pace hard.
The "Wall" was excruciating!
Dragon's Tail's end! Now we retrace the "Tail" to the Foothills Parkway.
