The 11th riding of the Roan Moan was wet.
There were at least 4 bicycle accidents.
One Roan Moan veteran rider crashed going down Spivey Mountain and was hospitalized.
She tried to avoid the wet, slick, yellow center line but it took her down.
Caroline is recovering nicely and is looking forward to her next ride.
Let's be careful out there.
220 plus riders came out to ride the Roan in the rain.
2 girls about 12 years of age rode the "Roan".

One girl rode the 26 mile course and the other rode the 63 mile metric century.
Where are the brave boys?

The century was down in attendance because of the rain.

McKinney Cove is pretty even if the camera is just pointed to the rear of the truck window.

This is as good as I good make this pic appear.

One of my true longtime great friends is Adam O'Neil.
These web pages are 2 weeks late.
Computer and website problems.
I even bought a new PC to solve the problem.
I worked on it for 2 weeks.
Adam got my phone message ple for help one day and drove from Asheville
to Bakersville and fixed it in an hour or so.
He is one of my closest confidantes and riding partners.
Adam is what I want to be like when I grow up.

Adam's better half, Amy.

The younger and the older.
