Hanahan, Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, Carolina ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Charleston, SC ![]() Quickly taken pictures of the harbor, on the fly, look like this -when repaired a bit! ![]() Ravenel Bridge Wonders Way This Wonders Way pedstrian and bike lane is a tribute to people- to life! ![]() It is indeed "grand" to share this view with everyone! ![]() ![]() ![]() This is an added fixture. ![]() This is an incredible "bonus" to an engineering "Wonder"! ![]() ![]() The "Bridge" play area for children. Throw in some artwork, natural beauty, and peace! ![]() How about a battleship to round it all off? ![]() Cheryl Crow? ![]() He's not catching anything but he's having fun "not catching". ![]() ![]() Here's a better look at the "Bridge" playground. ![]() The welcome center has great and clean restrooms. ![]() ![]() Bodacious Bagels of Ion They really are "bodacious"! Mount Pleasant Shem Creek ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's a nice "on the fly shot" of St. Andrew's Church. ![]() There were many nice homes along this stretch heading out to the "Point". ![]() Here is a great dog walk, fishing spot, or "soul resting spot". ![]() Cove Inlet ![]() ![]() Sullivans Island is right over there. We just can't there from here. ![]() There was a bridge, once, that would take you there. ![]() This is a marvelous place. ![]() The Ravenel Bridge is the mainstay to orient yourself as to where you are. ![]() It's the monument, the landmark, the destination, the fixation! I need some shots around sunset! ![]() ![]() ![]() Here on Sullivan's Island you can have some Irish beer and Irish music at Dunleavy's Pub! ![]() Poe's Tavern is my choice for fish tacos. There are too many diners for now though. ![]() I always miss the best shot of the prettiest "fire house" (fire station) ever, maybe. I "sorta", "kinda", hate seeing this spot sold. It's been a great view and "turn around spot". The "Hunley" submarine left here, completed it's mission, and promptly sank! We see some new streets and homes as we wander back through Mt. Pleasant. I love trees and especially the "Live Oaks". These were good sports- as they exercise the family. There were two children behind dad. Home again, home again, joggity jog.
