The 13th Annual Burnsville Metric

60 miles of fun & beauty!
The ride begins and ends at the square in Burnsville, NC.
The route is flat riding along the Toe and Cane Rivers through Higgins,  Lewisburg, Egypt, Ramseytown, Sioux, Huntdale, Relief, Green Mountain, and then rolling and moderate hills through Red Hill, Loafers Glory, Bandana, Kona,
and Rebels Creek.
The route is clockwise!

The ride begins at 9:oo am.
Registration is from
7:30 to 8:30
at the square in Burnsville.
Registration fee is
$25 for riders who pre-register before April 7 or $35 for late registration.
Fee includes refreshments
during and after the ride.
It also includes a special ride
T-shirt and patch.

T-shirts and patches cannot be guaranteed if registering after April 7!

Yancey & Mitchell Counties.

The ride drops down from Burnsville to the rivers.


The route meanders along the Cane River and then along the Toe River.

Of course you do short hills for the last 20 miles or so climbing back to Burnsville.

It's one of the easiest rides in the mountains.

It's one of the prettiest rides.
