2008 Rivers Bridge Ramble

The Orangeburg Police Department is sponsoring this ride for "gang intervention and prevention".

Rides of 27, 63, and 100, for all abilities, on quiet, scenic roads

The Edisto Gardens makes a very scenic staging area with ample parking.


The Edisto Gardens has many walking paths, fountains, and play areas for children.

Cordova, SC is certainly beautiful.

From Columbia
 take I-26 to 601.
Follow 601 to Russell St and turn right on Russell.
Follow Russell to the Edisto Memorial Gardens and turn right.

From Charleston
take I-26 to 301.
Follow 301 to the Edisto Memorial Gardens and turn right.

Inside the Edisto Memorial Gardens
Drive 1/2 mile to the
Arts Center
on Riverside Drive

The drive from Charleston and Columbia can be less than an hour.

Entry Fees include:

SAG rest-stops

All rides are easy but for weather conditions.

Orangeburg County Gang Intervention Project
The mission statement of the Orangeburg County Gang Project 2020
is to create a safe community environment for the citizens of Orangeburg County
by providing violence education, intervention and prevention activities that will
reduce the or eliminate gang activities through collaboration and relationships
with schools, institutions, social/civic organizations, businesses, communities and faith-based organizations.

It's a family thing.
