This is the
13th Annual

26 miles, 62 miles, or 100 miles
The rides begin and end at the
Fire Department in Bakersville, NC.
All rides are strenuous
with unparalleled beauty.
The century begins at 7:00 am.
The "quarter" century
& "metric" century
begin at 9:00 am.
The longer rides converge
after 54 miles on the century
and after 23 miles on the metric
giving riders of both rides an opportunity to ride together.
There is approximately
8000 feet of climbing on the century
and 6000 on the metric.

From Asheville: Take I 26 and then  take 19E to Spruce Pine.
From Marion take 226N not 226A.
Once in Bakersville, remain on 226 and you will see the Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department.

From Johnson City take exit 23 at Unicoi for 173 and 107, then 107.
It will turn into 226.

Come out of those sultry plains
to the "land of the sky",
magnificent views above the clouds
where rivers are born..."


At the hottest time of the year,

The century ride begins at 7:00 am.
The 32 miler & metric century
begin at 9:00 am.
Registration is from 6:00 to 8:30
at the Bakersville Fire Department
in Bakersville..
Registration fee is $30 for riders who pre-register before July 1 or $40
for late registration.
Fee includes refreshments during
and a cook-out after the rides.
It also includes a special ride
T-shirt and patch.
Shirts and patches can only be assured for
pre-registered riders.
